1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, accessing or using the AltiPrep FAA app or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Google Play’s terms also apply to your use of the app.

2. What the service is, and what it is not

AltiPrep FAA is a study aid to help you prepare for the FAA Private Pilot Airplane (PAR) Airman Knowledge Test. We work to keep the content accurate and up to date, but it is provided “as is”, may contain errors, and does not guarantee that you will pass any exam.

AltiPrep FAA does not replace instruction from a qualified flight instructor. It is not an approved flight manual and must never be used for flight planning or in-flight decisions. Always check official FAA publications, such as the Airman Certification Standards (ACS), 14 CFR, the AIM and the Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge.

AltiPrep is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or any other government agency. Charts and figures taken from FAA publications are works of the U.S. government.

3. Licence and intellectual property

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use AltiPrep FAA on your own devices for your own study. The texts, explanations, flashcards, question selection, design, logos and software are owned by the publisher of AltiPrep or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape or extract the content or the database, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.

4. Free access and AltiPrep Pro subscriptions

Part of the content is free. Full access, including all subjects and full mock exams, requires an AltiPrep Pro subscription. The available plans and prices are shown in the app before you buy; they may differ by country and currency.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or your Google Play account (Android) when you confirm the purchase, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the price then in effect. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

Billing, refunds and withdrawal rights are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, and we cannot refund payments ourselves. You can restore a previous purchase from the app’s Settings or paywall.

5. Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and only for personal study. Do not try to interfere with it, bypass the subscription or share your access with others in a way the stores do not allow.

6. Availability and updates

The study content works on your device without an internet connection, but some features, such as buying or restoring a subscription, need one. We may update, change or discontinue the app or features at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher of AltiPrep is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including decisions made in flight preparation, planning or flying. The pilot in command remains solely responsible for the safe conduct of every flight. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the legal rights you have as a consumer.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new version.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and you may bring a dispute before the courts of that country. Otherwise, the competent French courts have jurisdiction.
